How prices form: the private club market
Membership fees depend on a handful of measurable factors. This guide explains which ones, and how the portal's statistics reflect them.
What moves the price
The key factors: segment (individual memberships, new memberships, family memberships, founder memberships), execution level, seasonality and demand. Each segment has its own price corridor, and mixing them distorts the average.
That is why the portal computes each segment separately: the median price and the price per year are compared within a segment.
Why the median
The median is more robust than the average: a few very expensive offers do not move it. The real market level is what the median shows.
Every figure on the portal comes from the database and refreshes daily.
Reading the dynamics
A 7-day change is short-term noise; the 30- and 90-day trends show direction. Base decisions on the long trend.
